I first met Dmitry on February 23rd, 2024 during one of his amazing Ancient coin selling shows and iniitally I was looking for silver rounds depicting Greek gods and goddesses. As I did many times back then, I would go into a coin stream and ask if they had any coins like such but most of them were to no avail but this one was an exception! Instead of pulling out a silver round, he pulls out something that blew my mind; an ancient coin! This particular one was a Greek coin depicting Athena on the obverse (front) and on the reverse (back) was Perseus holding the severed head of Medusa and her body lying at his feet. This became my first authentic ancient coin; the first of many! I will always be indebted to him for giving me the first piece of my vast collection and introducing me into this amazing world! He runs his Whatnot shows every Friday night at 730pm EST! He is an absolutely amazing seller, a great guy and a great friend! Amongst my adventures into Ancient coins, I came across one coin that I had never seen anything like it ever in my life! It was an Ancient Chinese Spade coin, which at the time I knew nothing about despite my high interest in that time period. This coin was being sold at what I now know was actually a great price considering they can go for much more in great condition, such as this one was. The seller of this coin from there sent me a message asking me if I had interest in more things ancient and if I wanted to know where he got it from. I, of course, couldn’t pass up such a great oppurtunity so one day, I found myself in another great Whatnot show! At the time, Javier co-sold ancient coins with another one of his partners as well as selling his own modern coins for his business, Menace Family Coins and Collectibles! Now he solely focuses on the future prosperity of the business and has some of the most amazing coins I’ve ever seen! If you guys want a great place to get modern coins at amazing deals, this is the place to be! My first encounter with Marina was in another one of Dmitry’s Ancient coin streams and we instantly became friends! Even though we connected by ancient coins, it’s not the only thing that we share in common! Little did I know that she herself was a seller on whatnot as well! She sells the most amazing and beautiful gems and jewels along with wire wraps that she does herself out of either .925 silver or 14kt gold wire! I absolutely love gems and jewels from my studies of geology throughout the years. The most amazing part, she has also gone diving in the same place that my grandfather did all those years ago, The Mediterranean Sea! What she found and brought back with her are absolutely beautiful pieces of Ancient Roman pottery!! I now have all the pieces she found preserved perfectly in my collection and they will continue to be for many years to come! She has many, many more amazing pieces and she never ceases to amaze me every time I go to her show! She is an amazing person with a heart of gold and love for everyone, an amazing seller and one of my greatest friends!
